1. Be respectful of everyone, including but certainly not limited to the board and channel staff.
2. The Bible is our authority for doctrine and instruction.
3. Do not curse and never use the LORD's name in vain. This includes acronyms.
4. Do not Spam or in any way flood the channel. If you for some reason need to post 10 lines of text, Please ask first.
5. Do not send a private message without first asking permission. If someone tells you to stop, Stop.
6. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. This includes explicit text of any kind, including nicknames.
7. Do not post links to explicit or inappropriate content. Just because it does not specificity show something does not make it acceptable.
8. Trolling will result in a permanent ban.
9. No Violence beyond friendly cartoon violence. If someone asks you to stop, Stop. Serious offenses on this rule will result with an instant and permanent ban.
10. Do not discuss or send links to pirated material. This rule is not exclusive to the CFF, and breaking it can get you banned from the server.
11. Any new bots must be approved by the board and their status must be communicated to the staff.
12. CFF is for Christians, and those who wish to learn about Christ. It is not to be used to push other religions, and especially not to put down the LORD, the church or Christianity.
13. Do not program Wagzbot to break any of these rules. That includes flooding. If you want to program and reprogram a 5 line response into the bot, please do so in a PM to wagzbot, not in #CFF main channel.

There are unspoken and undefined rules not listed on this page.  Generally,  it's all common sense.  If an IRC staff member tells you not to do something, don't do it.

The IRC staff will be held accountable for handling something poorly, but are certainly allowed to use the ability they have been given. These rules are common sense and are easily understood.  Do not try and get around them on technicality.  We are not lawyers and will not waste time arguing the rules' meaning.  We wrote them.

If you're not sure about something, never hesitate to ask.  We don't bite, and don't want to ban anyone.  You may PM links to any staff member for approval if you are not sure about them. Do not send us blatantly inappropriate content. (That is to say, do not send unsuspecting staff members to pornography websites.)

Submit disputes with discretion. Unintelligent disputes including but not limited to, “"It wasn't inappropriate! it was free expression through art!” will be ignored or otherwise handled with the submitter accordingly.
